The Wearhouse: Clothes matter
Leaving home means losing everything – clothing, toys, family photos – and starting over from scratch. For foster parents, it means trying to outfit a growing child with the $300 per year the state provides for clothing (that’s less than half of what an average family spends). Our Wearhouse is a free store that fills this chronic gap. Kids can shop several times a year for new and like-new clothing, shoes, school supplies, books, toys, bikes and other essentials that help them feel good and fit in.
Donations of clothing, shoes, and toys fill the Wearhouse, our free store, with things foster kids need and want to feel good and fit in.
2100 24th Avenue South – Suite 100 Seattle, WA 98144
We are one block off Rainier Avenue South, near Borracchini’s Bakery. Enter the parking garage via the alley behind the building (off Walker Street), and pull your car into the loading dock area immediately to the right. Ring the doorbell for assistance.
Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
